What we collect when you use Zignals Academy, and why.

    Who we are

    Zignals Academy runs the classes on this site. In this policy, "we" means Zignals Academy.

    What we collect

    Account details: your name, email address, Discord username, and mobile number.

    If you sign in with Google: your name and email address from your Google account. We do not get your Google password.

    Batch 1 payments: your slot, reference code, price, and what our team records after checking your Discord ticket (payment method, amount received, and ticket number). Your payment screenshot stays in the Discord ticket.

    Learning progress: lessons you finish and your quiz scores.

    Login details: when you last logged in. We use a cookie to keep you logged in.

    How we use it

    To create and run your account.

    To hold your Batch 1 slot and check your payment.

    To send you emails about your account, your slot, and your classes.

    To add you to the Academy on Discord and track your progress.

    We do not sell your information. We do not use it for ads.

    Who can see it

    Only Academy admins can see account and payment details. Teachers see the progress of students in their courses.

    We use trusted services to run the site: Supabase (accounts and data), Vercel (hosting), Google (sign-in and email), and a video service for class recordings. They only handle your data to provide those services.

    How long we keep it

    We keep your account while it is open. Payment records are kept as long as we need them for our records. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

  6. 06

    Your choices

    You can update your name, Discord username, and mobile number on your Account page.

    To get a copy of your data or delete your account, email us at the address below.

  7. 07

    Changes

    If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. Big changes will also be announced in the Zignals Discord.
